About Us

Girl Up Manipur is the very first Manipur based club under the Girl Up Campaign initiated by United Nations Foundation.

Girl Up is a global leadership development initiative founded in 2010 that positions girls to be leaders in the gender equality discourse. Girl Up works across a global community to achieve gender equality worldwide. It has impacted 75,000 girls across 4,000 clubs in nearly 125 countries. Inspiring the young generation to be a force of gender and social change, we believe in being the change we want to see.

We are a movement aimed at improving gender equality and breaking the existing gender stereotypes by providing resources and a platform for social change.

Through this initiative, we aspire to educate the mass on the various inequalities present in society. This club is an inclusive community striving towards an intersectional feminist movement.
